This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
8 deviants said I think a progressive tax is fair. It gives the little guy a fair shake and an opportunity to improve their fortunes.
18%
3 deviants said Why should I have to pay taxes so that others can be lazy? It makes more sense for me to keep my money and take care of my own business. Screw the rest of you.
12%
2 deviants said I think I get a great deal for what I pay. Roads, the protection of law, the ability to build a fortune in relative safety, public education, etc!
12%
2 deviants said FOX News Corp. could stand to pay more, if you ask me.
6%
1 deviant said Flat tax is the only thing that makes sense. Why should the wealthy have to pay more than the little guys?
6%
1 deviant said Taxes are unconstitutional and should be banned entirely. Don't you people know this country was founded because of a protest against taxes?
0%
No deviants said What? What's that? Nope, don't know what you're talking about.
0%
No deviants said I held my fancy finger out at the tea party.
I'm going to the American Museum of Natural History in NYC tomorrow! Yay! You'd think that since I only live about an hour away by train that I'd visit the city more often, but no... I'm a lame retard or something, instead. I've never been to the Natural History Museum here. I've always wanted to ever since playing Parasite Eve on the PlayStation oh... 10 years ago or so. Awesome game, awesome city. That reminds me... I still have to go to the Chrysler Building, too.
I'm not entirely happy about it as it's supposed to be raining constantly throughout the day which may hamper my picture taking opportunities, but I'll see what I can work out with my pathetic little point and shoot. Here's to dreams of a real camera.
I think a good theme to this journal since I'm going to the American Museum of Natural History to bask in the glow of science and intelligent thought would be to highlight Evolution and include some stuff from the anti-science weirdos who are becoming far too effective politically in the US. These people truly frighten me. I might even create an accompanying poll.
Just to be clear, I know the Theory of Evolution is a fact and is the foundation of modern biology and a major influence on other branches of science. If you disagree, that's great. I have no problem if you don't believe in it because it conflicts with your religious world view. Just don't expect me or anyone else with a modicum of education to side with you.
One of the most basic laws in the universe is the Second Law of Thermodynamics. This states that as time goes by, entropy in an environment will increase. Evolution argues differently against a law that is accepted EVERYWHERE BY EVERYONE. Evolution says that we started out simple, and over time became more complex. That just isn't possible: UNLESS there is a giant outside source of energy supplying the Earth with huge amounts of energy. If there were such a source, scientists would certainly know about it. -awesomestnerd via FSTDT.com [link]
